Childcare Support Worker Supervisor Opportunity

About the Position

This role involves supervising and supporting a team of Support Workers and Waking Night Support Workers, while also being responsible for leading shifts and ensuring effective completion of tasks and responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and guide Support Workers and Waking Night Support Workers.
  • Lead shifts, managing resources and prioritising tasks to achieve effective outcomes.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with children, providing emotional and practical support.
  • Contribute to the training and development of staff, promoting best practices in child care and support.
  • Offer emotional and practical support to children who may wake up during the night.
  • Create opportunities for children to make happy memories.
Essential Requirements

Pre-requisite qualifications and skills include experience working with children and young people in a similar setting.

We require exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to engage with children and collaborate with colleagues and other professionals.

The ideal candidate must be flexible regarding working hours, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Annual Salary: £28,000.
