Join us as a Therapy Assistant and contribute to delivering high-quality patient care at Bedford Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support, assessment, and treatment to patients in hospital, working closely with the multidisciplinary team.

About the Job

You will be working as part of the Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams, using your skills and experience to support patients to achieve safe and effective discharge. You will also be involved in monitoring and adjusting treatments/interventions and reviewing patients on an ongoing basis.

Job Responsibilities
  • To assess and if appropriate implement activities, treatment, and exercises in order to achieve the common goal of facilitating a safe and effective discharge.
  • To independently monitor, adjust, and review intervention and treatments.
  • To participate in administration duties within the department.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £24,071 to £25,674 per annum (pro rata). We also offer a range of benefits including high quality clinical supervision and professional development opportunities.
