
Support Worker for Complex Needs

We are seeking an experienced Education Support Worker to join our team at Sense College in Bedford. This is a 1 year fixed term position, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9am-4.30pm.
Job Requirements- Supporting learners to achieve their Individual Learning Plans/targets and monitoring progress of these.
- Providing a customised, responsive and high-quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.

- A salary of approximately £20,000 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
You will need:
- Previous experience of working with people who have a sensory impairment, autism or learning disability would be an advantage, as would knowledge of BSL, Makaton or other methods of communication; however, training will be provided.
- Level 2 (or equivalent) in English and Maths is an essential requirement for this role.
