Responsibilities

  • Deliver specialized care to patients with Type II Respiratory Failure, starting from their admission in the Emergency Department.
  • Implement the COPD bundle and coordinate transfers to rehabilitation services, ensuring smooth transitions and the best possible outcomes.
  • Administer life-saving non-invasive ventilation (NIV) and manage chronic respiratory conditions.

Requirements

  • A first-level registered nurse qualification.
  • Knowledge and understanding of local and national COPD Agenda.
  • Ability to prioritize own workload and possess good organizational skills.
