We are looking for a Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco, where you will be responsible for coordinating store operations, managing a team of colleagues, and providing top-notch customer service.

The Job
You will work closely with store managers to ensure seamless store operations, manage inventory levels, and maintain high standards of customer service. Your role will involve coaching and developing your team members to achieve their full potential, as well as identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance store performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate store operations, including inventory management, stock ordering, and cash handling
  • Manage a team of colleagues, including recruitment, training, and performance management
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues promptly
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance store performance
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and data, using technology to streamline processes
