Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to oversee the design, development, and optimization of electronic systems in our manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Electronic Production Department.
- Oversee the Surface Mount Wave Solder and Selective Solder Departments, focusing on productivity and machine performance, and resolving any issues.
- Introduce new products into manufacture, refining and improving processes as necessary.
- Liaise with manufacturing and design departments to ensure new products are suitable for manufacture.
- Review and improve material flow and production processes using Lean Manufacturing techniques.
- Train employees in production areas as necessary.
- Carry out machine programming, produce operating procedures, maintain training records, and provide productivity reports.
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in electronics and previous experience in electronic manufacturing.
- Strong background in electronics engineering and experience with production environments.
- Ability to identify improvements and implement changes through to completion.
