As a Senior Human Factors Engineer, you will be responsible for providing human factors input into the nuclear safety assessment process and supporting the implementation and validation of the human performance elements of the safety case.

You will contribute to the design development of new or modifications to existing site systems/processes/facilities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing professional support to the Principal Engineer (Human Factors) covering design, safety assessment, and human performance-related aspects of the project
  • Supporting the professional growth, development, and mentoring of junior members of the human factors team
  • Undertaking human factors assessment work in support of ergonomic design development, safety assessment, and the verification/validation of the human performance elements of high-hazard systems, processes, and facilities

The estimated salary for this role is £70,000 - £95,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include 5% Pension Contribution & Life Assurance, Private Medical Scheme, and Employee Share Scheme.
