As a key member of our Warehouse & Logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Brighouse facility. This includes managing a team of 8-15 people, ensuring the efficient movement of goods, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading a team of Warehouse Team Leaders, Warehouse Operatives, and Transport Operatives to achieve exceptional performance and customer satisfaction.
- Developing and implementing processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and develop proactive solutions.
- Managing inventory levels, stock movements, and health and safety protocols.
- Providing regular reports to Senior Management and utilizing data to inform decisions.
THE PERSON:
- We are looking for a seasoned logistics professional with a strong track record of leadership and management.
- Experience in a fast-paced distribution environment is essential, with a proven ability to motivate and engage teams.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to account manage clients in a proactive and constructive way.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise from shop-floor to Board level.
- Able to commute to central Brighouse on a daily basis and willing to progress your career within a business that genuinely develops and progresses its people.
