Air Import Duties:

  • Develop and maintain customer standard operating procedures
  • Ensure financial transparency across job files
  • Deliver accurate import documentation in a timely manner
  • Take ownership and demonstrate accountability for operational excellence
  • Uphold a customer-centric approach in all business actions
  • Ensure accurate and timely paperwork related to import documentation issuance
  • Exhibit commercial savvy and a comprehensive understanding of job profit and loss
  • Handle freight and invoicing tasks
  • Generate operational reports and promptly address any anomalies
  • Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with suppliers, airlines, and overseas partners/agents
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures

Air Import Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in airfreight industry operations
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet fixed deadlines
  • Strong numerical and commercial acumen
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office applications (knowledge of Cargowise is advantageous)
  • Proactive, collaborative team player with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Enthusiastic, adaptable, and self-motivated
  • Willingness to work overtime and/or adjust start/finish times during peak periods

About the Role:

As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of airfreight imports, working closely with suppliers, airlines, and overseas partners/agents to deliver exceptional results.
