About the Role
Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the People Policy and Compliance Team. As the People Policy and Compliance Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Health Board's compliance with all legal and statutory requirements, as well as providing expert advice on employment law, policy, and terms and conditions of service.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement progressive employment policies and socialisation processes in partnership with trade union colleagues to ensure a positive employee experience and compliance with statutory and legal responsibilities.
- Provide internal assurance within the People Directorate, the Board, and to sub-committees of the Board by ensuring robust employment policies and governance processes and procedures are in place to mitigate risks to reputational damage.
- Manage the overall performance and direction of the People Policy and Compliance and Job Evaluation Facilitator Team.
- Advise on complex employment policy, governance, and employment issues, including freedom of information, IR35, and people audit and risk matters.

Requirements
- Master's Degree or equivalent level of experience.
- Chartered Member of CIPD.
- Experience in a management role within a HR function.
- Experience of employment policy development and review.
- Specialised knowledge of one or more HR subject areas.
