People Services Team Lead

The People Services Team Lead is a senior specialist practitioner with advanced knowledge and skills in complex employment relations matters and specialist HR topics, including strategic organisational change. This role will drive excellence and continuous improvement in line with the organisation's values and behaviours.
Main DutiesThe People Services Team Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, customer-focused service that drives continuous improvement in people management metrics and positive employee experience. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the people services team to build capability and improve performance, delivering a customer-focused coaching service to facilitate timely people management decisions.
- Collaborating with peers to lead on strategic projects, driving service and employee experience improvements.
- Utilising complex people data to provide intelligence for senior managers to develop proactive workforce plans.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with local and regional trade union representatives.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Human Resource Management or a relevant subject, with essential knowledge and experience in employee experience, Equality Diversity and Inclusion, Organisational Development, Recruitment and Retention, and Organisational Culture and Change. Associate membership of the CIPD is also required.
