Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Taylor & Francis Group. As a key member of our global customer service department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, live chat, and in-person, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process orders, invoices, quotes, returns, and claims in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Take ownership of customer queries and work to resolve them in line with policies, procedures, and customer service best practices.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of department policies, processes, and systems used.
  • Provide support to team members and suggest improvement ideas to enhance customer satisfaction, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in an office environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Proven ability to acquire technical and system knowledge.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM systems is ideal.
