About the Role
CHEC Community Health and Eyecare are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Coordinator to join our team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support, responding sensitively to patients who are emotional and/or distressed.
Key Responsibilities
- Support patients and be the first point of contact
- Maintain high standards of patient care at all times
- Provide advice to patients about the services we provide
- Use communication skills, including empathy, tact, and reassurance, in handling all calls
- Maintain a robust approach to data quality and patient confidentiality

Requirements
- Natural ability to empathise with patients and demonstrate a genuine care
- Good communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and other systems
- Ability to learn and adapt to new internal systems
- Self-motivated and self-starter with the ability to prioritise and schedule work independently
