Job Opportunity: Consultant Dermatologist

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Dermatologist to join our team. As a key member of our dermatology department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide comprehensive dermatology services to patients across Lincolnshire, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless care.
  2. Coordinate departmental cover for dermatology, ensuring continuity of care and minimizing disruption to services.
  3. Teach and mentor medical students, junior doctors, nursing staff, and General Practitioners, promoting excellence in patient care and professional development.
  4. Take ownership of patient care and departmental operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.
  5. Contribute to the management and development of our clinical services, actively participating in team meetings and service activities.
  6. Meet Royal College of Physicians standards and British Association of Dermatologists' continuing medical education requirements.
  7. Participate in local mandatory training, annual medical appraisal, and revalidation processes.
  8. Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives, driving innovation and excellence in patient care.
  9. Undertake other duties as identified to meet the needs of our service.
