About the Role:

We are seeking an International Financial Administrator to manage financial operations, focusing on accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end close routines. You will ensure compliance with financial procedures, support project teams, and contribute to smooth financial operations across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain ledgers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Process supplier invoices, staff expenses, and credit claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Schedule and authorise electronic payments, raise and monitor invoices, and chase overdue payments.
  • Perform bank account reconciliations and complete quarterly control account reconciliations.
  • Assist with month-end routines, prepare journals, relevant spreadsheets, and support annual audit processes.
  • Ensure all transactions are accurately coded and input into SAGE, preparing reports as required.
  • Provide financial advice, assisting teams to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance.

About You:

  • Part-qualified (ACCA, CIMA) or Qualified AAT, with solid financial management experience in international development settings.
  • Proficient in accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end close routines.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in SAGE or similar accounting systems.
  • Familiarity with donor compliance, statutory reporting standards, and international financial regulations.

Estimated Salary: £32,500 - £37,000 per annum.
