Job Description:

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Consultant Paediatrician to join our team at Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust in the role of Consultant Community Paediatrician.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinical leadership for specialist trainees on rotation in community paediatrics.
  • Working closely with community nursing staff, allied health professionals, and social workers to provide comprehensive care to children and young people.
  • Participating in a weekday 9 am to 5 pm safeguarding child protection on-call rota, supported by regular child protection supervision and peer review.
  • Carrying out child development/neurodisability work within a friendly, passionate team dedicated to providing high-quality care for patients.

What We Offer:

The appointee will be eligible for a car through the Trust's lease car scheme. We also offer regular CPD opportunities with neighbouring trusts and a supportive team environment.

Salary Information:

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £123,000 - £171,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
