About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our innovative Eating Disorder Service, which provides specialist care to children and young people with eating disorders. As a Senior Specialist Dietitian, you will be responsible for assessing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating dietetic programs of care for service users with eating disorders. You will also attend weekly multidisciplinary team meetings to provide expert advice on nutrition support and contribute to the development of new pathways within the NHS transformation agenda.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, implement, monitor, and evaluate dietetic programs of care for service users with eating disorders.
- Provide expert advice on nutrition support to clinicians and contribute to the development of new pathways within the NHS transformation agenda.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support to individuals with eating disorders.
- Maintain professional standards through ongoing continuing professional development, audit, and evaluation in accordance with the Health and Care Professions Council Standards and Trust Policies and Procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Relevant clinical experience in CAMHS Eating Disorders.
- Registered or eligible to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- A minimum of 2 years post-registration experience in Dietetics.
- Proven leadership skills.
