Job Opportunity at The Peninsula London

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical & Plumbing Engineer to join our team at The Peninsula London. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs to mechanical and plumbing systems, including hot and cold-water supplies, AHU and FCU, and soil and waste disposal systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of swimming pools, jacuzzis, saunas, and steam rooms to ensure they are safe and functioning properly.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and external contractors to resolve issues and provide excellent guest services.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within a similar environment.
  • Trade certification or NVQ level in Mechanical Engineering and Plumbing Systems.
  • Good understanding of building services, including HVAC systems and plumbing and drainage.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent English communication proficiency.
