Key Responsibilities- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, including taking temporary or complete charge in their absence.
- Manage and monitor the planning and delivery of care, including medication management.
- Assist with the management of the care and nursing teams, including regular supervisions and appraisals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the quality of care provided by the home.
- Active NMC PIN and a strong clinical background with a commitment to person-centred care.
- Clear understanding and knowledge of the regulatory framework and the ability to implement it in the home.
- Experience in leading a care and nursing team in a similar setting.
- Well-organised and strong workload management skills.
- Excellent induction and training programmes.
- Paid NMC revalidation.
- Support with continuous professional development.
