About the Job:

  • We are seeking a skilled Personal Care Assistant to provide support and care for our clients in their homes.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities, and be able to assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • You will also be responsible for preparing meals, light housekeeping, and assisting with mobility and transfers.
  • In this role, you will work independently, but as part of a team, to ensure our clients receive the highest level of care and support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care services to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks.
  • Support clients with mobility and transfers, as needed.
  • Document client progress and report any changes or concerns to management.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred.
  • CPR certification and first aid training a plus.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
