We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Planner to lead the planning process for programme and project controls outputs for a portfolio of works under IChemE contract conditions with Thames Water on their sewage treatment Waste Asset Assurance Programme (WAAP).
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning process to deliver programmes of work within non-infrastructure schemes like upgrades to wastewater treatment works.
- Review and produce programmes, impact programmes, project controls dashboards, reports, and programme narratives from first principles.
- Analyse contract metrics and make improvement recommendations.
- Support the commercial team to ensure accurate forecasts are produced.
- Review resource loading and maintain schedule resources in a Primavera P6 environment to support project management decisions on sequences of work.
- Must have NEC / IChemE contract-based Planning experience within medium to large scale non-infrastructure project or portfolio work.
- Experience of civils and MEICA based projects in the water industry.
- Confidence and experience of managing a planning team.
- Good understanding of commercial and contractual matters and thorough experience and understanding of programming techniques.
- Competency in the use of Primavera P6.
The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits including flexible working hours, opportunities for professional development, and a competitive pension scheme.
