Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Gas and Oil Engineer to work across multiple sites in Oxford, covering 16 to 19 facilities and performing routine maintenance tasks on HVAC systems.

About the Job:

This role involves a mix of planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance, with a focus on maintaining the efficiency and reliability of HVAC systems.

Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct regular site visits to inspect and maintain HVAC systems, identifying any issues or defects.
  2. Perform repairs and replacements of faulty equipment, following established procedures and guidelines.
  3. Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to share knowledge and best practices, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  5. Document all activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs, and fault identification, to ensure accurate records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A qualified Commercial Gas/Heating Engineer with relevant experience working on multiple sites.
  • NVQ Level 3 – Commercial and Industrial Gas, Building Services/Heat & Ventilation.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a flexible approach to adapting to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a salary of £46,546 per annum, inclusive of a standby allowance (£20.20/hour), plus a comprehensive package of benefits, including a company vehicle, pension scheme, and life insurance.
