About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to join our client's UK team. As a key member of the finance leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions for the UK business.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Developing and implementing financial plans and strategies to drive business growth and profitability
  2. Leading the financial planning and analysis team to provide accurate and timely financial information to support business decision-making
  3. Managing the financial reporting process, including the preparation of financial statements and management accounts
  4. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and laws, including IFRS and local GAAP
  5. Collaborating with the European shared services team to ensure effective financial management and control
  6. Directing and managing a small team of finance professionals to achieve business objectives

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Our client is a leading international manufacturing and service business with a global staff cohort of approximately 1,500 staff. The UK business is structured as three separate Ltd companies operating as part of the group, providing specialist services to the UK market.
