About the Role

Elysium Healthcare is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Kendal and Workington. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality specialist psychological interventions and contributing to the development of our services.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and provide individual and group interventions for service users with complex needs.
  • Conduct diagnostic and cognitive assessments, and participate in multidisciplinary team working.
  • Design and deliver training for staff, and facilitate staff reflective practice sessions.
  • Develop and implement plans of specialist psychological treatment or management of patients' mental health needs.
  • Ensure high standards of care in all areas of practice, in accordance with the HCPC Code of Conduct and Company Policies and Procedures.

Requirements

  • BPS-recognised psychology degrees.
  • UK HCPC registration.
  • Chartered Psychologist status and appropriate post-graduate qualifications.
  • Approved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevant division.
  • Experience of applying psychological knowledge to a Learning Disabilities and Autism setting.
  • Experience working with clients with cognitive deficits.
  • Previous experience of conducting research and project working.
