About the Role
Elysium Healthcare is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Kendal and Workington. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality specialist psychological interventions and contributing to the development of our services.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Assess and provide individual and group interventions for service users with complex needs.
- Conduct diagnostic and cognitive assessments, and participate in multidisciplinary team working.
- Design and deliver training for staff, and facilitate staff reflective practice sessions.
- Develop and implement plans of specialist psychological treatment or management of patients' mental health needs.
- Ensure high standards of care in all areas of practice, in accordance with the HCPC Code of Conduct and Company Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
- BPS-recognised psychology degrees.
- UK HCPC registration.
- Chartered Psychologist status and appropriate post-graduate qualifications.
- Approved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevant division.
- Experience of applying psychological knowledge to a Learning Disabilities and Autism setting.
- Experience working with clients with cognitive deficits.
- Previous experience of conducting research and project working.
