Shared HR Service Centre seeks an experienced Witness Care Officer to join our team. In this part-time, permanent role, you will contribute to the Criminal Justice Department, working 25.5 hours per week at Mansfield House. Your primary focus will be on providing ongoing support and guidance to victims and witnesses throughout case and court proceedings.

Responsibilities

The following tasks are crucial to this role:

  • Offering necessary guidance and support to individuals involved in case and court proceedings.
  • Maintaining effective communication with witnesses to ensure they are prepared and informed about hearings and outcomes.
  • Ensuring accurate recording, storage, and supply of information using designated computer systems.

To succeed in this position, you must possess exceptional communication skills, empathy, and patience when interacting with diverse stakeholders. Strong data processing and management skills are also required. A minimum educational requirement is A Level grade C/4 in English Language or equivalent.

Salary and Benefits

In exchange for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary, calculated on a pro-rata basis for part-time hours. This results in an estimated annual salary of £29,535 - £33,495. Additional benefits include:
