Job Title: High Voltage Engineering Manager

BAE SYSTEMS is currently seeking a highly experienced High Voltage Engineering Manager to lead our electrical power systems team in Barrow-In-Furness or Filton. As a High Voltage Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of our electrical power systems.

Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires technical expertise and excellent leadership skills. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-integrity electrical power systems.

As a High Voltage Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the team to ensure efficient operation and effective delivery of projects
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborating with suppliers and stakeholders on matters related to the compatibility test facility
Your Skills and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree-qualified or equivalent experience in electrical or power engineering
  • Knowledge of high power and medium voltage power systems and distributions
  • Leadership and management experience in a similar field
