Nuclear Safety Assessment Manager

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role in nuclear safety? We are currently seeking a Senior Criticality Safety Assessor to join our team at the Atomic Weapons Establishment (AWE).
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A honours degree in science, engineering or closely related discipline;
- Experience in leading technical teams and providing expert advice to operational facilities and new build programmes;
- A strong understanding of criticality safety assessment techniques and principles;
- Good engineering and scientific judgement;
We also value candidates with experience in nuclear transport codes, Monte Carlo and deterministic methods, and familiarity with regulatory requirements.
