About the Opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional Environmental Data Analyst to join our team at Arrow McLaren IndyCar. As a key member of our sustainability department, you will play a critical role in helping us achieve our environmental goals and reduce our carbon footprint.

In this exciting opportunity, you will be responsible for analysing and interpreting complex data sets to inform our sustainability strategies and report on our environmental performance. You will work closely with our teams to embed sustainability into their daily activities and manage projects targeted at reducing our environmental impacts.

You will have a high degree of flexibility and an agile working style, with approximately 25% of your workload consisting of managing short-term tactical projects, responding to ad-hoc requests, and emerging priorities with agility and a winner's mindset.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyse and interpret complex data sets to inform our sustainability strategies and report on our environmental performance.
  • Deliver our annual GHG footprint, including data gathering, aggregation, and calculation in line with the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard.
  • Deliver our annual circularity metric, including data gathering, aggregation, and calculation in line with the F1 Circularity Handbook.
  • Deliver robust and reliable data, insights, and visualisations relating to environmental performance to support business cases for sustainability projects, governance reporting, and drafting of our annual Sustainability Report.
  • Submit accurate environmental data to fulfil voluntary external reporting frameworks and regulatory requirements, including but not limited to: UN Sports for Climate Action, SBTi, SECR, TCFD, and Formula 1 & Formula E data requirements.
Requirements
  • A high degree of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and optionally Smartsheet.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and stakeholder management skills, and experience interacting with both internal and external stakeholders in pursuit of sustainability outcomes.
  • A track record of delivery of decarbonisation, circular economy, and other sustainability initiatives/projects, on time and to budget.

The estimated salary for this role is £65,000-£85,000 per annum, depending on experience.
