Bennett And Game Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled Surfacing Contracts Manager to join one of the UK's largest and most successful Surface & Highways Companies based in Derby, Midlands.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and manage all aspects of asphalt surfacing contracts, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of asphalt surfacing contracts, including commercial control and operational management.
  • Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve the highest standards of health and safety, environmental, and quality culture, performance, and compliance.
  • Carry out site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to company requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing contracts in the surfacing industry or a related field, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong negotiation skills, and commercial awareness.

Requirements
  • Construction Management Qualification (or equivalent).
  • A valid CSCS card.
  • Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence and mentor.
  • Strong commercial awareness with a focus on controlling cost and optimizing value.

We offer a competitive salary of up to £65,000, a company car, private medical, life assurance, and a bonus scheme. The estimated salary range for this role is £57,000 - £65,000 per year, depending on experience.
