Job Title: Deputy Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team at Lifestyles Residential Services Limited. As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager in guiding the team to deliver the highest standards of care and working in line with minimum standards 2019 and children's home regulations 2005.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Registered Manager in guiding the team to deliver the highest standards of care.
  • Work co-operatively with children's services, health agencies, and other community-based services to ensure the young people are receiving the most effective service and achieving their true potential.
  • Take responsibility for complex cases/situations presenting within the service and work diligently as part of a multi-disciplinary team with an aim of achieving a high-quality, safe, and well-managed care and support service.
  • Apply safeguarding and child protection procedures and ensure full compliance in line with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Provide comprehensive staff supervision on a minimum of a monthly basis or when required and work with the Registered Manager ensuring staff training is fully compliant and in date.
  • Support the Registered Manager in ensuring we are working within budget.
Requirements:
  • A minimum 2 years' experience working with behaviours of concern such as verbal and physical aggression/absconding.
  • Degree level in Social Work is required.
  • Must have a full clean UK Driver's License for 12 months.
  • Northern Ireland Social Care Council Registration and Enhanced Access NI.
