Lifestyles Residential Services Limited is seeking an ambitious and driven leader to join our team as Deputy Head of Training. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our service and ensuring that our young people receive the highest quality care and support.
About the Role:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as Deputy Head of Training. As a Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Manager in guiding your team to deliver the highest standards of care and working in line with minimum standards 2019 and children's home regulations 2005.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Registered Manager in guiding your team to deliver the highest standards of care and working in line with minimum standards 2019 and children's home regulations 2005
- Work co-operatively with children's services, health agencies, and other community-based services, networking to ensure the young people are receiving the most effective service and achieving their true potential
- Take responsibility for complex cases/situations presenting within the service and work diligently as part of a multi-disciplinary team with an aim of achieving a high-quality, safe, and well-managed care and support service
- Apply safeguarding and child protection procedures and ensure full compliance in line with organisational policies and procedures
- Provide comprehensive staff supervision on a minimum of a monthly basis or when required and work with the Registered Manager ensuring staff training is fully compliant and in date
- Support the Registered Manager in ensuring we are working within budget
- A minimum 2 years' experience working with behaviours of concern such as verbal and physical aggression/absconding
- Degree level in Social Work is required
- Must have a full clean UK Drivers License for 12 months
- Northern Ireland Social Care Council Registration and Enhanced Access NI
- Permanent, Full-time position
- From £40,000.00 per year
- Yearly bonus will be considered
