Risk Division Software Engineer Vice President Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Division Software Engineer Vice President to join our team. As a key member of our Risk Engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing large-scale risk management solutions.

About the Role: In this role, you will work closely with our risk management teams to identify, monitor, and evaluate financial and non-financial risks. You will utilize your expertise in software development, data analysis, and risk management to design and implement solutions that meet the firm's risk appetite statement and strategic plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop large-scale risk management solutions using a range of technologies, including Java, Scala, and Python.
  • Collaborate with risk management teams to identify and prioritize risk management initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain risk management tools and platforms, including data visualization and reporting.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement risk management processes and procedures.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience in risk technology, with a focus on software development and data analysis.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
