Job Title: Vice President Software Engineer

At Goldman Sachs, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President Software Engineer to join our Asset & Wealth Management Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Design and develop scalable, high-volume web services using Java and industry-standard technology frameworks
  • Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical expertise to ensure the best possible solutions
  • Lead and direct software development teams to deliver high-quality products on time
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to help them grow professionally
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience in software development
  • Expertise in Java 8+ and experience with microservices architecture and REST API development
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and AWS Cloud Platform
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
