  • Pre-Production Checks: Conduct thorough pre-checks and cleaning tasks of the production line to ensure optimal performance.
  • Machine Setup and Maintenance: Set up and configure machines, prepare raw materials, and perform routine maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and efficiency in production.
  • Inventory Management: Replenish packaging and films to the production line as needed.
  • Manual Handling: Perform manual handling tasks, including stacking finished goods, to ensure efficient production flow.
  • Hygiene and Safety: Maintain the hygiene of equipment and adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Complete required documentation and record downtime to help minimize its impact.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to and help implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, safety, and waste reduction.
  • Training and Development: Support and assist in the training of other staff members.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience working with machinery, preferably in a food production environment.
  • Physical Demands: Confident with manual handling tasks and physically fit.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy and attention to detail are essential in this role.
  • Time Management: Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Technical Skills: Competent IT skills are required.
