Corporate Tax Manager

TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency, is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join a boutique, well-established, and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Sevenoaks.
This chartered firm of accountants has developed a strong reputation across Kent, the South, and nationally, acting for interesting and growing businesses, including OMBs, SMEs, and large corporates. Due to ongoing growth and a desire to plan for the future, the partners are looking to bring in a Corporate Tax Manager to bolster their team.
This is an exciting position where you will gain experience across all areas of corporate tax, including EIS and R&D, and have the opportunity to lead on corporate finance work, involving prestigious business transactions with major brands.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with tax advisory work, including EIS and share schemes
- Help with mergers, acquisitions, reorganisations, and tax due diligence
- Prepare R&D tax relief claims
- Prepare corporation tax computations and returns for larger, more complex companies/groups
- Oversee and review the more basic corporation tax compliance function to ensure deadlines are met
- Supervise more junior members of staff
- ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with a career background in corporate tax or a mixed tax background
- Advisory/planning tax experience gained within an accounting firm or tax boutique firm of any size
- A background developed within a firm of any size environment, from small independent to Top Tier firm background, and a desire for a career move offering development and progression potential
- Negotiable, dependent on experience and background
