Corporate Tax Manager

TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency in Kent, is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join a boutique, well-established, and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Sevenoaks.
This chartered firm of accountants has developed a strong reputation across Kent, the South, and nationally, acting for growing businesses consisting of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and large corporates. The partners are looking to bring in the right additional Corporate Tax Manager to bolster their team as a key addition.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across all areas of corporate tax, including EIS and R&D, and will also have the chance to lead on the business's corporate finance work, involving prestigious business transactions with some of the biggest brands in the world.
As a Corporate Tax Manager, you will join the firm's Sevenoaks office at a key time in its development, with a chance to carve a career within this successful firm. You will work across reviewing compliance and providing advisory services to a mixed portfolio of owner-managed businesses across Kent and the South-East.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with tax advisory work, including EIS and share schemes
- Helping with mergers, acquisitions, reorganisations, and tax due diligence
- Preparing R&D tax relief claims
- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns for larger, more complex companies/groups
- Overseeing and reviewing the more basic corporation tax compliance function to ensure deadlines are met
- Supervising more junior members of staff
Requirements:
- You will be ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA qualified, or qualified by experience, with a career background in corporate tax or a mixed tax background
- You will have advisory/planning tax experience, gained within an accounting firm, or tax boutique firm of any size
- Your background will have been developed within a firm of any size environment, from small independent to Top Tier firm background, and you will be looking for a career move offering development and progression potential
Benefits:
- £55,000 - £70,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable
