Job Overview:

As the Theatre Development Director at ICON THEATRE, you will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of our award-winning Creative Engagement Programme. This role requires a strong background in theatre production, education, and community engagement.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Theatre Development Director. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and delivering high-quality theatre programmes for young people and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme Development:
  • Lead the development and delivery of Icon's Creative Engagement Programme, including the Young People's Programme and Schools Engagement.
  • Work closely with the Artistic Director and Executive Directors to shape the programme's direction and strategy.
  • Project Management:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and within budget.
  • Collaborate with team members, partners, and stakeholders to achieve programme goals.
  • Community Engagement:
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, artists, and stakeholders to create successful collaborations.
  • Ensure inclusive and accessible programming for diverse audiences.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in theatre production, education, and community engagement.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
