Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and guidance to families and young people in need
  • Work with families to identify and address their needs
  • Develop and implement individual plans with families and young people
  • Provide training and development opportunities to families and young people
  • Work with other agencies and professionals to provide a comprehensive support service

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with children and young people
  • Experience of working with families and young people with complex needs
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of people
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize own work and meet deadlines

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Qualification in a relevant field such as social work or youth work
  • Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary setting
  • Experience of delivering evidence-based interventions and programs

Working Conditions:

The post holder will be required to work in a variety of settings, including families' homes, schools, and community settings. The post holder will also be required to work evenings and weekends as required.

Language Requirements:

The ability to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
