Plant Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Fortune Brands Innovations.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and organized individual to take on a key role in maintaining the efficiency of our manufacturing operations. As a Plant Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective operation of our plant equipment by performing routine maintenance tasks and troubleshooting mechanical systems to resolve breakdowns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out regular inspections and conducting planned preventative maintenance on equipment across both facilities.
  • Identifying and implementing solutions to optimize site performance, working collaboratively with the production team.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a culture of workplace safety throughout the organization.
Requirements:
  • A relevant qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering (NVQ, HNC) or completion of an apprenticeship within maintenance engineering.
  • Experience of reactive and preventative maintenance, preferably in a kiln or furnace environment.
  • Strong technical ability relating to automation hardware and software.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to act decisively to solve engineering and operational problems.
