SourceSync is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance services across our hospital facilities, ensuring the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction.

About the Role

In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of equipment and systems, including fire alarm systems, ventilation units, and lights. You will be responsible for performing routine repairs and monitoring on all systems, and reporting any potential issues to management. You will also be required to attend training sessions on current legislation and keep tools and equipment properly maintained.

As a Facilities Maintenance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hospital facilities, and will work closely with our management team to identify potential issues and implement solutions to ensure compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor maintenance services and resolve immediate problems using basic trade skills.
  • Test fire alarm systems, ventilation units, and lights, and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform routine repairs and monitoring on all systems, and report potential issues to management.
  • Conduct regular checks on COSHH, fire safety, emergency lighting, nurse call systems, and legionella, ensuring compliance.
  • Attend training on current legislation and keep tools and equipment properly maintained.
  • Carry out weekly fire alarm tests, record results, and assist with heavy cleaning tasks.
  • Perform statutory water testing and record monthly utility meter readings.
  • Keep gutters and drainage points clear, and perform minor repairs.

The estimated salary for this position is around £26,000 - £31,000 per annum, depending on experience.
