Consilium Recruit is seeking an experienced Maintenance Equipment Specialist to join their team in the West Midlands area. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventative and reactive maintenance on complex machinery, as well as installing new equipment.

Estimated Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 per annum

The Role
  1. Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment.
  2. Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal downtime.
  3. Work closely with management to develop a total preventative maintenance schedule, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-effective solutions.
  4. Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to prioritize workloads and ensure efficient use of resources.
  5. Develop and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including fault issues and reordering of parts.
Requirements
  1. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  2. Strong understanding of electrical regulations and ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
  3. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze root causes and implement effective solutions.
  4. Ability to work independently, prioritizing workload to minimize production downtime.
