Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join our SCM team for the Display division at Samsung. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in improving and executing operations to high standards, integrating and coordinating functions, activities, transactions, and people across the value chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead S&OP meetings with key stakeholders to drive business decisions
- Manage accurate demand forecasts for the next 6 months to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Handle stock allocation to orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
- Identify operational problems, set improvement plans, and monitor progress against targets
- Continuously improve operational efficiency and excellence
- Analyze market size, sales trends, and inventory levels to inform demand planning
- Produce and analyze weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales projections
- Provide regular updates to customers on backorders and delivery schedules
- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth
Requirements
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office (Excel) and experience with SAP
- Ability to analyze data and articulate trends and issues
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines
- Hard-working, motivated, and proactive individual with a creative problem-solving approach
- Experience working in a commercial environment and achieving results
- Process and performance-driven mindset
