Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor Operations & Race Team to join our team at Aston Martin Formula 1 Team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth of our team and driving a high-performance culture.

About the Role

  • Work closely with the HR Business Partner to deliver best-in-class service across the Operations and Race Team functions.
  • Contribute to building organisation and people capability aligned to the wider business strategy.
  • Support the Team's primary objective of consistently being a top three team in the FIA Constructor's Championship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish strong working relationships with key stakeholders within the Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Facilities, Health & Safety, and Race Team.
  • Support HR Business Partners as required.
  • Manage employee relations, including investigations, disciplinary, grievance, performance management, probation reviews, and case management.
  • Develop and coach managers in line with internal policies and HR best practice.
  • Coordinate actions from the talent profiling and performance review processes.
  • Support the development of training plans and arrange training activities as needed.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to manage business area headcount requirements and optimize cost cap opportunities.
  • Analyse workforce planning data to establish trends and propose solutions.
  • Support the annual pay review process.
  • Manage absence management and analyse data trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate team member documentation.
  • Support contract changes and variations.
  • Contribute to key initiatives to enhance the company culture.
  • Support HR Business Partners with project work and take ownership of small-scale projects.
  • Responsible for supporting recruitment, performance management, and HR initiatives.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal standards and reduce risks related to employee management.
  • Work proactively, responsibly, and professionally at all times.
  • Act as a role model for the company's values.

Requirements

  • Ideal candidate has a CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Possesses previous experience in a similar role, working in a high-performance environment.
  • Excellent working knowledge and experience of HR in a professional workplace.
  • Good understanding of UK employment legislation, HR policy, and process.
  • Confident, approachable, and professional communicator at all levels.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • High professional standards, including quality of work, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Able to remain confident and motivated under pressure.
