Financial Operations Specialist

Capita is seeking a skilled Finance Administrator to join our established Finance team in Cheltenham. This full-time, permanent position offers a unique blend of office and remote work, with an initial training period in the office followed by a hybrid schedule.
Key Responsibilities:- Process receipts and payments efficiently and accurately, adhering to Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
- Ensure the security and accuracy of internal controls, including systems, bank accounts, and controls.
- Work with the business to minimize and clear outstanding reconciling/suspense items.
- Provide technical support and advice to internal customers.
- Manage cheque printing and BACs runs, including authorization and administrative tasks.
- Update bank mandates for changes in authorized signatories.
- Arrange the opening/closing of client bank accounts.
- Support the Team Leader and Team Manager with ad-hoc projects and tasks.
- Demonstrable data entry skills with accuracy and speed.
- Ability to manage workloads in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Accounting experience is desirable, but not essential, as training is provided.
- A competitive starting salary of up to £23,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
