Role Overview:
Fundamental to the mission of Stop Domestic Abuse, we seek a highly skilled Fundraising Manager to lead our income generation strategy. This pivotal role demands exceptional communication, relationship-building, and strategic planning skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, developing, and implementing an ambitious fundraising plan that contributes significantly to the charity's operational needs. They will design and execute innovative campaigns, nurture lasting relationships with supporters, and grow our income through diverse channels.

This role requires collaboration with the Business Development Director and Business Development Manager to ensure alignment with the overall income generation strategy. The postholder will also have a central role in securing grants from statutory agencies and trusts, as well as driving individual giving initiatives, community events, and corporate partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the charity's goals.
  • Nurture and maintain relationships with donors, supporters, and stakeholders.
  • Create engaging internal and external communications plans ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
  • Manage budgets effectively to maximize income and optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive fundraising activities and events.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. A proven track record in fundraising, grant writing, and partnership development is essential. Additionally, excellent communication and project management skills are required to drive multiple projects simultaneously.
