Main Responsibilities

  • Support the Communications and Engagement Specialist and the wider communications team in the delivery of all communications.
  • Assist in the provision of the Targeted Lung Health Check programme and development of a new Community Diagnostic Centre.
  • Maintain the photo library, distribution lists, and contact databases.
  • Respond to correspondence and log and track responses.
  • Support the development and collation of communications resources.
  • Monitor media in local and national press and provide summaries to the wider team.
  • Maintain media and stakeholder databases.
  • Undertake action notes at meetings and tracking of actions.
  • Answer the departmental telephone in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Act as a guardian for the NHS and Trust brand guidelines.
  • Capture imagery/video and log filming and photography consent documentation.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Person Specification

  • GCSE A*- C in English Language or equivalent.
  • GCSE A*- C or equivalent in Mathematics.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to obtain, analyse, interpret, and communicate complex information rapidly and successfully.
  • Professional attitude when dealing with internal and external audiences.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to working within the healthcare setting.
