Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team of Home Support Workers at North East Ambition. As a Care and Support Specialist, you will provide exceptional care and support to young people and adults with complex learning disabilities and/or autism spectrum diagnosis and present with behaviours that challenge.

Salary: £12.59-£13.69 per hour (estimated annual salary: £25,960 - £28,370)

About the Role

You will work in a flexible manner on a rota of shifts over a 7 day period, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. You will be responsible for providing specialist care interventions, including Positive Behaviour Support and therapeutic ways of working.

Requirements

  • Experience of working in a care environment or with people with a learning disability/complex needs or behaviours that may challenge
  • 4 GCSEs (9-4/A-C grades) or equivalent relevant qualification and/or a relevant Care qualification

Benefits

All staff receive a comprehensive induction and training package, including Positive Behaviour Support, administering medication, and moving and handling.
