Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Strategist to join our Marketing Communications team at Apple Inc. as a Lead Writer, Spanish. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in localization writing and creative content management to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Creative Localization

Develop and implement creative localization strategies to ensure that marketing and communication materials are tailored to the Spanish-language markets, while maintaining the Apple tone of voice and intended message.

Content Origination

Originate high-quality, engaging content for local marketing initiatives in the Spanish-language markets, working closely with strategy, brand, and creative teams to ensure alignment and consistency.

Collaboration and Feedback

Collaborate with team members, project managers, and producer teams to align on language validation and continuously innovate to optimize our processes.

Industry Knowledge

Stay up-to-date on industry trends, cultural evolution, and socio-political events in the market, as well as standard processes in copywriting, translation, and technical writing.

Requirements

  • Expert Localization Writer

Adept at translating marketing copy while maintaining the original intent and the brand tone of voice.

Brilliant Spanish Writer

Skilled in crafting inventive, concise headlines and well-honed paragraphs of body copy.

Proficient in English

Ability to articulate and discuss creative and linguistic choices expertly and robustly in English.

Proficient with Technology

Confident using software and platforms for localization writing and validation, including CAT tools and online simulators.

Excellent Writing Ability

Outstanding attention to detail and excellent time management and prioritization skills.

  • Expert Leader

Takes ownership for the quality of the work and provides clear creative direction, copy mentorship, and feedback to others.

Knowledge of Apple Products

Familiarity with Apple products and communications, and a curiosity about technology in general.

Workflow Optimization

Able to optimize workflows to deliver work of outstanding quality in the most efficient way.

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and deadlines.
