Job Title: Pharmacist Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist Manager to join our team at NHS. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Clinically check prescriptions and ensure accurate dispensing of medicines
  • Supervise the preparation of medicines and maintain a safe and secure environment
  • Provide Pharmacy First Services and offer counseling to patients on over-the-counter medication
  • Lead a team of Dispensing Staff and Over the counter staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Develop and promote enhanced and other clinical services available within the pharmacy
  • Abide by the code of ethics as set by the General Pharmaceutical Council, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality
Person Specification:
  • Methodical and accurate approach to practical tasks
  • Commitment to training and professional development
  • Trustworthy and understanding of confidentiality issues
  • High level of concentration and strong communication skills
  • Professional, tactful, and friendly attitude
  • Ability to work effectively to deadlines and as part of a team
  • Excellent IT skills and ability to maintain accurate records
Qualifications:
  • Pharmacy Degree
  • GPHC Registration Number
  • Pharmacy First PGD
