We are seeking a skilled Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) to join our team in Merton. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic abuse.

About the Role

This is a hybrid working role based in Merton Civic Centre. As an IDVA, you will implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm.

You will provide face-to-face and virtual support in a hybrid model of working, including working from home, Merton Civic Centre, and the Merton One Stop Shop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement effective ways of working with victims and those supporting them to increase safety and reduce harm.
  • Provide a high-quality, front-line service to victims of domestic abuse, delivering a premium service prioritized according to risk.
  • Work within a multi-agency framework consisting of the MARAC and local partnership responses to domestic abuse.

Salary: £30,850 per annum, including a 2,800 per annum London Weighting Allowance.
